The Web Developer position is for developers who appreciate design , user experience , and are interested in delivering " pixel perfect " results with high performance . In addition to technical knowledge, they must have the habit and attitude of self-discipline to create high-quality products.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Develop and maintain Shopify stores, ensuring a smooth and engaging user experience and using best development practices.
- Create and customize Shopify custom apps to meet specific customer needs.
- Collaborate with the design team to transform designs into functional and responsive components.
- Using a version control system and collaborating on project development.
- Analysis and understanding of third-party code.
- Optimize the performance and accessibility of Shopify stores using web development best practices.
- Stay up to date with the latest news and best practices from Shopify and front-end technologies.
- Following specific instructions, internal standards, nomenclatures, and development methodologies.
- Self-review of deliverables.
- Good time management.
- Teamwork.
- Good communication.
- Analysis and continuous improvement of work processes (both personal and team).
SKILLS:
- Advanced knowledge and use of the technologies used ( CSS, HTML, JavaScript ).
- Knowledge and use of responsive web development .
- Knowledge of automated workflows using webpack .
- Knowledge and use of package managers ( yarn, npm ).
- Knowledge and use of CSS preprocessors ( Sass, Post CSS ).
- Knowledge of REST API consumption .
- Knowledge and use of GIT as a version control system.
- Github knowledge for collaboration in project development.

Understanding the fundamentals of programming :

IDEAL:
- Bachelor's degree in computer systems or related field.
- Experience using and managing Shopify .
- Experience with additional Shopify technologies and tools ( Liquid, Shopify CLI or Theme Kit )
- Basic knowledge or experience with some type of JS framework and libraries ( Vue, React, jQuery ).
- Knowledge of SEO best practices .
- Analysis and interpretation of performance and SEO reports.
- Experience in a macOS work environment .
GENERAL INFORMATION:
- Address: Currently Remote.
- Hours: Monday to Friday from 9:00 am to 6:00 pm with a one-hour lunch break.
- Productivity bonuses: up to 3 months' salary.
