From May 7th to 9th, 2025, Momentum , the first global event for partners organized by Rebuy Engine, took place. Shopify, the leading platform for personalization and sales intelligence for e-commerce. Based in San Diego, this conference brought together some of the most relevant brands and agencies in the Shopify ecosystem to share ideas, strategies, and success stories around a common goal: to drive conversions and generate sustainable growth .

Momentum is a space where brands, leaders, and experts share best practices for improving e-commerce results through data, personalization, and advanced tools. This first edition discussed specific strategies for:

Key recommendations to increase conversion
During an expert panel, in which Getmore participated, several practical strategies were shared for optimizing Shopify stores and improving real results. Here are some highlights:
- Name your products accurately. Avoid creative names that don't describe what you're selling. For example, instead of "Lucy Shoe," opt for "Black High Heel Shoe." This improves SEO and makes the product instantly recognizable.
- Make the price and call to action visible. The "Add to cart" button on the product page should be clear, visible, and sticky on mobile.
- Address objections from the very beginning. How long will it take for the order to arrive? How are returns handled? What makes your product unique? This prevents potential friction in the purchase process and boosts the Add to Cart rate.
- Implement data analysis before experimenting. Reviewing conversion rates, funnels, device behavior, and analyzing bottlenecks is key before applying improvements.
- Design with retention in mind. As mentioned in the panel: “An e-commerce customer only becomes profitable after their second or third purchase.” That's why it's essential to have clear strategies for subscription, repeat purchases, and loyalty.
In addition, a central idea from conversion expert Nik Sharma of Sharma Brands was cited:
Good stores and good advertisements answer the same five key questions: What is the product?, How does it benefit me?, Why should I trust this brand?, How is it different from others?, and the fifth question is divided into two: When will it arrive if I buy it today? and, What if I don't like it?
